About the Author
Hello....
I’m Saba Asghar
Author, adventurer, and lifelong learner. I was born in a small town in Yorkshire, where my journey began.
My childhood wasn’t easy. Breaking away from the norm meant growing up faster than most, facing challenges that taught me resilience, strength, and the importance of compassion. These experiences have shaped who I am today — deeply passionate, caring, and determined to make a difference.
Alongside many other roles I’ve held over the years, the one I’m most proud of is being a foster carer. Throughout my life, I’ve balanced various jobs and responsibilities, but fostering has remained a constant and deeply meaningful part of who I am, supporting children and young people through some of their hardest times. This role has given me invaluable insight into life’s complexities, and inspired me to work with orphanages around the world — helping to bring hope, care, and opportunity to those who need it most.

Outside of my fostering, writing, and charitable work, I find peace in the great outdoors and joy in exploring the world around me. Travelling allows me to connect with different cultures, gain new perspectives, and find inspiration in unexpected places — all of which feed back into my writing and personal growth. I also have a deep love for cooking, often recreating dishes I’ve discovered on my journeys or experimenting with flavours in my own kitchen. Whether I’m hiking along a rugged trail, discovering a hidden corner of a new city, or preparing a comforting home-cooked meal, I cherish these simple pleasures and the sense of connection they bring.
Through my books and stories, I want to share the wisdom life has taught me — the beauty found in struggle, the strength we all hold within, and the power of kindness. Join me on this journey; let’s explore life’s pages together.
